The world of interior design is often mistaken as being solely aesthetic, when in truth, it begins with how a space supports the ways we live. For Project Brumwell, the clients envisioned their backyard as a true summer extension of their home — a place where entertaining is effortless. Every Inch Studio shaped the layout to support four distinct zones: a dining area connected to the indoor kitchen, a pool for the family’s young children, a sun-lounging area for relaxation, and a conversational seating area designed for lingering into the evening. Each zone is subtly defined by thoughtful design gestures: the elevated dining deck enclosed with a glass fence; the pool bordered by a clean rectangular grid; and the lounging areas set atop generously scaled stone in a diamond layout, softened with grass inlays. These details act as the final polish — enhancing a space that is, above all, intentional, personal, and tailored to how the clients truly live.
